Our mission is to develop competitive female student-athletes and promote lifelong qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, leadership, respect, and integrity.
Originally founded in 1990 as the Crystal Lake Tidal Waves and later rebranded as CTW, the organization operates as Tidal Waves Girls Fastpitch under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
CTW is a premier girls fastpitch organization in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are proud to have 20 teams and athletes ranging in age from 8 to 18.

When
Tryouts start in July and the season typically runs Aug thru July.
Where
Our teams practice indoor in our state of the art 25,000 sq ft training center. Outdoor practices are held on various fields in Crystal Lake and McHenry.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Teams typically practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
Schedules and tournament venues vary by age level and are determined by team coaching staff.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Uniform costs are not included in team fees. Coaches can provide estimated uniform costs.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Fees include all costs other than individual lessons, (pitching, hitting etc.) and uniforms. Financial commitment information is available from each coach.
